Locus Error is a techno DJ and producer from Nijmegen who has built a strong reputation with her groovy, driving sound. With her uplifting techno and bouncy basslines, she has won over audiences at clubs and festivals across the Netherlands and beyond, including Awakenings, Loveland, Thuishaven, Sisyphos (Berlin), Intercell and 909.
Her passion for music started early, with the cello as her first instrument. Years of classical training shaped her ear for detail and layered composition, elements that still resonate in her sets today.
After cutting her teeth on radio streams like Open Source Radio and developing through the pandemic years, she steadily grew from local shows to a national and international circuit. Alongside her DJ career, she released her first production in April, a remix of a track by JSPR, with more releases in the pipeline.
Her involvement in the scene runs deeper than her sets. She co-runs BALANS, an event series and record label, together with Darko Esser (Tripeo), and serves on the board of Stichting Nachtburgemeester Nijmegen, where she actively contributes to the city’s nightlife culture. She also played a key role in the founding of Soundlab, the first DJ and producer student association in the Netherlands.
