Litmus is a Sydney-born, Amsterdam-based producer working at the groovier end of minimal house. His writing leans on acid bass lines, silky pads, swinging hats and a cheeky vocal, the kind of details that reveal themselves over repeat listens rather than a first pass. There’s a sense of play in his arrangements, with hooks that sit just off-centre and grooves that take their time to land.

His catalogue has found a home across a run of respected European labels. The early releases came through PIV, Pathway Traxx, Sukhumvit Records, Dailycid and NO ART, with more recent productions on Up The Stuss and Eastenderz. Each one builds on a sound that feels rooted in the deep lineage of underground house while staying very much his own.

In 2024 his work was showcased through a Mixmag Lab Amsterdam session back to back with S.A.M., a glimpse of how his tracks breathe alongside other producers writing in the same world.
