About De Sluwe Vos

Robert Vosmeijer, known as De Sluwe Vos, is a Dutch DJ and producer who has grown into a key figure in Dutch club culture and beyond. Translating to “The Sly Fox,” the name reflects his instinctive and unpredictable style, moving seamlessly between house, techno, electro and hip hop influences. With fifteen years of experience in the booth, his sets are defined by sturdy track selection and fast paced mixing that keeps any dance floor burning. His sound sits at the intersection of house and hard hitting techno, infused with breakbeats and a touch of rave energy. He is known for digging deep into both old school records and new club material, blending them into sets that feel both classic and forward looking. Starting out at local parties and underground raves, he developed his craft through years of regular club and festival performances. His breakthrough came in 2013 with OG Anthem, which quickly positioned him on larger stages across Europe. Since then, he has appeared at festivals such as Lowlands, DGTL, Awakenings, Pukkelpop and Glastonbury Festival. In the studio, De Sluwe Vos translates his analog machinery into raw dancefloor focused house and techno productions, released on labels such as DGTL, Who’s Susan and Unknown To The Unknown. His recording of a fully analog improvised live set at Lowlands Festival 2019 was released as Live at Lowlands, capturing his live approach to performance and synthesis driven improvisation. Beyond solo work, he collaborates with Sjamsoedin as Intercity 106, a project that has already gained DJ support from artists such as Âme and Dixon. He is also active in more conceptual and audiovisual live performance projects under the alias Christian The Comet Conqueror, where sound, space and sensory elements are combined into a full experience. With a career defined by constant movement and experimentation, De Sluwe Vos continues to push boundaries both in the studio and on stage, delivering high energy performances and forward thinking productions.
